Situated in the Vienn department of France, our spacious gîte offers the ideal location to explore some of the best attractions in the Vienne and beyond.
With three double/twin bedrooms (all en-suite), a large 110m2 open plan sitting/kitchen/dining area, Wi-Fi and exclusive use of a solar-heated swimming pool, it is the perfect holiday rental for families, couples or friends.
The gîte is in a beautiful rural location only a couple of miles from the small town of St Savin, which is famous for its impressive Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983.
There are many tourist attractions within easy reach and the surrounding countryside has miles of off-road tracks for walking or cycling, nature reserves for bird-watching, and rivers for fishing and canoeing.
Taxe de Séjour (Visitor's tax) and Taxe Départmental (Department Tax) are included in the rate.

Renovated from an old barn, the gîte offers extremely spacious accommodation. With exposed beams, tiled floor and a light, airy feel throughout, the gîte has been finished to a high standard with all the equipment you would expect to find in a holiday rental of this quality.
The downstairs area is open-plan. There is a modern fitted kitchen with range cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and a large central island unit. The dining table seats 6 comfortably and a high chair can be provided upon request. Three large, 3-seater sofas provide a comfortable seating area. There is Freesat (English) television, Wi-Fi, a DVD player and a range of DVDs, as well as a selection of books and board games.
Upstairs there are three double/twin bedrooms, to which a cot can be added if required. Each of the bedrooms benefits from its own en-suite, one of which has a bath as well as a shower.
In the enclosed garden adjoining the gîte, there is a 9m x 4.5m solar-heated swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests.
A BBQ and 2 terraces provide ideal areas for al fresco dining.
Underfloor heating and a large wood-burning stove downstairs, together with radiators upstairs, make winter/spring breaks warm and cosy.
