The High Grove Resort Weather
With any location in Florida being no more than seventy five miles from the ocean, the whole state's climate is heavily influenced by its proximity to the ocean. On top of that, the state is climatically split into. The division occurs at Lake Okeechobee, in the middle of Florida. Anywhere to the North of the lake, which is where High Grove Resort, Clermont is located, the climate is defined as humid subtropical, while areas to the south have a true tropical climate.
So, when staying in High Grove Resort, you should expect weather ranging from warm and pleasant during the non-summer months, through to extremely hot during the period of June thru to September. Florida is called the Sunshine state for good reason, the sun shines on most days and the temperature rarely ventures anywhere near 32°F. This explains why over the years, Disney and Universal Studios have both made Florida, and in particular Orlando, their home.
If you visit Orlando's theme parks and attractions outside of the summer months, you should have a relatively dry and comfortable experience. But in summer months, it's going to be very hot and very humid most days, with temperatures in June, July and August reaching into the mid 90s F.
Alternative Similar Communities
High Grove Resort is a popular place for a vacation and if you've found a home that you like the look of, then you should send off an inquiry about its availability and exact price. But it's always worth looking at other similar vacation rental home communities and resorts which might only be a mile or two away from High Grove Resort and which might also be of interest. It's not a huge disadvantage, but the Davenport and Clermont communities are further away from most of the attractions, but they are often priced better than vacation rental homes in the Kissimmee area. In the Davenport/Clermont area, you might want to consider Calabay Parc (the other community) and also Calabay Parc at Tower Lake and also Tuscan Hills which is a fantastic place to stay if you're a golfer. If you're looking to limit the expenditure, then check out Crescent Lakes . And turning to the vacation rental communities in Kissimmee, you may want to look at vacation rentals in Emerald Island which is close to Disney and Terra Verde , which again is close to the parks.
If you can spend a little more, then how about looking at Formosa Gardens, or Windsor Hills or Windsor Palms which are both full resorts and so offer more onsite entertainment.
The quality of all of the vacation rental communities around Kissimmee and Davenport is very good and the general standard of the homes in them can be exceptional. So, we would suggest that before booking any vacation home; establish your needs including the planned dates of travel and the number of you traveling before contacting as many homeowners as possible. This will allow you to identify which vacation rental homes most closely suit your requirements. Whether it be availability dates, price, location, size of the property, facilities of the resort or community, etc, all of these should feature in your decision making process.
Driving Directions to High Grove Resort
Disney World's Magic Kingdom boasts the highest attendance figures of any theme park on the planet. But Universal Orlando, which has been improving both the quality of its parks and as a consequence, its visitor numbers, is nipping at Disney's heels. So, it's little surprise that all the US domestic, and most international airlines have attempted to capitilize on this success themselves by laying busy flight schedules to Orlando. The city is served by two international airports; Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Orlando-Sanford Airport (SFB) which are 30 minutes and one hour's driving time, respectively from High Grove Resort.
A large number of flights arrive and depart Orlando International Airport each day, with Sandford far less well served. There are a number of driving routes from Orlando International Airport to High Grove Resort, but we generally advise on this one. To reach High Grove Resort from Orlando International Airport, take FL-417S towards Disney World(r) and continue until reaching the Celebration Avenue (exit #2). Keep right to take ramp towards US Hwy-192 in a westerly direction. Once on Hwy 192 W, drive for Continue on for 7.5 miles until reaching US27. High Grove Resort is almost directly opposite the junction with Highway 192.
As High Grove Resort is so close to US Hwy-192, it's also worth mentioning that US Hwy-192 is Kissimmee's primary tourist road. Also, much to the delight of non-native drivers, the 192 has brightly colored Guide Markers along various sections which make it easier to navigate.
